Reliable Bathrooms is a trading name of Reliable Building and Construction. We’re committed to looking after your personal information, and this policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect it.
We follow the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You can read the APPs on the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) website at oaic.gov.au.
Personal information is anything that identifies you, like your name, address, email address or phone number. We usually collect it when you fill out a form on our website, call or email us, or book a consultation. Sometimes it comes from third parties.

The Privacy Act defines sensitive information as things like your racial or ethnic origin, political or religious beliefs, union membership, criminal record or health information. We don’t ask for this information. If it’s ever needed, we’ll only use it for the purpose it was given, with your consent, or where the law requires it.
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. They help us understand how people use the site and improve it. They collect anonymous information, like the pages you visit and how long you stay. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings.
Where we reasonably can, we collect your information directly from you. If someone else gives us your information, we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know. We’re not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites we link to.
We only share your information with people who help us deliver your project, such as our trades and suppliers, when you’ve agreed to it, or when the law requires it. We never sell your information.
We store your information securely to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. When we no longer need it, we destroy it or remove anything that identifies you. Client project files are kept for at least 7 years.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Just send us a written request. There’s no fee to make a request, but we may charge a small admin fee for providing copies. We may also ask you to confirm your identity first.
We take reasonable steps to keep your information accurate and complete. If anything changes, please let us know.
